Spent some free time between car shopping to further develop this gas station scene. Added an old pickup, various signs, and a foreground grass. Will likely add a few more key objects before beginning to texture with full background decals and environment effects.
Began building a scene for UE4 to help familiar myself with engine tools. Currently fleshing out shapes for a mid-desert gas station. ~1-2 hours of work into this project. Built in 3ds Max, lit with a Vray sun. <10k polys, no textures applied.
Completed work on my AR-15 game asset I have been dedicating free time towards. 7500 total polygons, modeled in 3DS Max, Textured using Quixel Suite. More renders soon, along with an updated demo reel.
Added seams to the doors + hood + lights, along with setting up scene for future demo reel animation renders. Happy with the render results yielding a very stylized effect, while maintaining photo-realism.
I found screen grabs of a project I aided with at Next/Now Agency for a Trade Show Interactive Marketing Game. I was handed a model to apply custom textures (The model ultimately had to be completely redone) to match an existing real-world SeaBreacher, + Modeling various ramps, tokens, buoys and gates.
Also, a video of the final project: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m10yAKIbzJc
Beginning to layout Vray for the updated Hmmwv scene. New tires, new indentations on the doors, and some drastic polygon cuts (I don’t know what I was thinking when I originally modeled it!)
